We had an excellent turnout for our first trail building day. 12 folk made up of club members, the Coast and Countryside Trust and their volunteers spent a full day working on the blue descent in glorious sunshine.
The surfacing of the blue descent was finished; drainage channels improved; encroaching branches cut back and invasive weeds removed.
Huge thanks to everyone who turned up – the support really makes a difference. Also a massive thanks to the FCCT guys who had literally everything but the kitchen sink to keep us fed and watered!
Check out the gallery and see the blood, sweat, tears and sausage buns that helped make the day so worthwhile.
